The Skokie Caucus Party 4th annual Holiday Toy Drive was a huge success! The Toy Drive benefited the Niles Township Food Pantry and ran from November 3 to December 15.
New, unwrapped toys, books, and games for children age 1-17 were accepted at the following collection sites throughout Skokie: Sanders Restaurant, First Bank and Trust on Dempster and Skokie Blvd., Annie’s Pancake House, Kids First Pediatrics, Skokie Ace Hardware, Skokie Library, Oakton Community Center & Exploratorium, AW Yeah Comics, Turning Point, Euro Cafe.
“Last year, the community really got behind this effort to help disadvantaged children in our own neighborhoods,” said Sean Arden, the Toy Drive’s committee chairman. “This year, with the help of our business partners and the support of Skokie Caucus Party members and friends, we are hoping to do even better.”
The Skokie Caucus Party is committed providing support to charitable organizations. Last year seventeen business and organizations participated in the toy drive effort and over 350 toys were collected for families in need in our community. Thank you for your support last year. Please help make the 2017 Holiday Toy Drive even more successful.
